Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is crucial to contribute to successful projects and programmes. M&E is essential for learning in order to improve and adapt existing work plans and outcomes based on evidence.

E
vidence is used for designing future projects or advocacy interventions, to influence policy.

IDLS recognises the importance of M&E and emphasises this in
all of its work.

When approaching monitoring and evaluation IDLS understands
that the external environment has to be taken into consideration.

Cultural, social, economic and political context influences project
outcomes.

We provide our clients with the services to undertake evaluations of
programmes and capacity building processes.

By using the logical framework approach and promoting a participatory
approach we can support our clients to design and manage an
appropriate and tailored M&E system.

IDLS works with partners to understand this environment and
how it impacts on their project design and outcomes.
Building M&E capacity is integral to our work with clients.
